in Risk Management

The CERM concept is to create a new ‘all things risk’ site. This entails the establishment of a world-recognized center for risk assessment and management (Center for Excellence in Risk Management (CERM)). The objective is to become internationally recognized as the holder and purveyor of the best practices in this field. This is achieved by becoming a widely recognized and respected center that provides resources, answers questions, connects customers with other service providers, etc. The intention is to build a reputation to the point where certification by CERM becomes essential to demonstrate state-of-the-art practice and the highest standard of excellence.

CERM’s initial focus is on pipelines, hydrocarbon, water, slurry, etc, and related facilities (tank farms, storage fields, pump/compressors, etc).

Profits may be immediately generated by this new site, but the current strategy is to forego short-term profits in order to establish a sustainable delivery and support framework. Therefore, CERM’s focus is initially on content generation, brand building, and establishment of reputation.
